In order to sell Intellectual Property through our online auction, you must execute our listing agreement. To sell your patent, trademark, copyrighted material, customer or data files, simply send us complete details by email or by letter.

Please provide the following: Complete contact information, including name, telephone number, address and complete description of the IP to be sold. Our staff will review it and respond promptly.

Most auctions require a promotion period of approximately 2-3 weeks plus the actual online auction of seven (7) days.

Costs for Submitting Intellectual Property for Sale

The Listing Fees for each type of IP are listed under the Sales Policies tab on the Home Page. These fees cover the preparation for the sale, verifying ownership, communications with potential buyers and promotion to our database of potential buyers. Additional advertising, such as the Wall Street Journal or the national edition of the New York Times is billed separately.

For Financial Instruments, Data and Customer Files, and Copyrighted Material (Contact Administrator). You may be required to provide proof of ownership, chain of title and other legal documents for the Administrator or attorney for possible buyers. Consistent with professional auction practice, ipAuctions, Inc. does not charge a Buyers' Premium.

All Sellers are required to pay for preparation of Assignments or other transfer documents required to legally transfer ownership of IP. We can provide legal assistance in this area. All charges are deducted from payments to the Seller.
